Notes From My Research
- During a lunar eclipes Earth's shadow shown on the Moon is round
- Ships apear as though they are sink into the water when they cross the horizon, like it is down a sphere and out of someone on the shore's veiw
- If the earth was flat, then all constalations would change as you moved farther across the surface, because you would be looking up at different parts of the sky, but instead they stay the same, because you see halfof a sphere of sky space, and that is almost always the same
- If you put a stick in the ground, it's shadow will move as time passes, because of rotaition. If the world was flat, there wouldn't be rotaion
- If you satnd somewhere high up, you can see farther than someone standing low, because you are looking farther down the earth
- Since we have different timezones, we must have an axis on a sphere to work that way
Notes On The Videos
- Pythagorus thought the earth just had to be round
- During a lunar eclipes Earth's shadow shown on the Moon is round (Noted by Aristotle)
- Ships apear as though they are sink into the water when they cross the horizon, like it is down a sphere and out of someone on the shore's veiw (Noted by Pathagaris)
- The pull of gravity is about equal from every point on Earth's surface
- We can now travel to space and take photos and videos of Earth, directly observing its true shape
- Columbus didn't discover that the world was round
- The Zetetic philosiphy belive that if Earth looks flat ,than it is
