6 - What is Mars Like?

• List potential problems as you read about them in your book. Also be thinking about other problems not mentioned that we should be considering.
  
• Write a journal entry about what you learned from the perspective of your persona.  Be "in character" while writing and express some of your concerns & worries in your writing.
  
• Include some of the other personas in your writing to make it feel more real.  Publish live and then comment on others' writing.
  

• It is hard to adapt
  
• The rotation of the planet might be odd
• The distance of earth and mars changes because of rotation
• There might be life in water
• low gravity, keeps feet off ground
• Mars is all land, no oceans or seas
• There might not be any water, we can't bathe
• volcanoes,canyons,dried up rivers,dune fields
• Wind storms can blow our ship off
• There is no tectonic plate action
• The dust can blind us or harm us in any other way
• There is a layer of gas that surrounds the hole planet
•  we can breathe only in our suits
• There is no oxygen in the air
• Very low air pressure
• It is so cold
• We have to land at a perfect landing in the warmest spot
• We can choke on dust
• Mars is zapped by the sun
• There could be other life
• Nobody has actually seen mars with there own eyes
• People saw lines crossing mars
  

       I have a big job as a part of our trip to Mars, I am the pilot of our rocket ship. I is very stressful learning about all the little problems that I have to worry about. The storms, the atmosphere, etc. I get to work with Mert Dogan, and Thomas Peeters so I have somebody to work with, (the rocket scientist and the other pilot). I have to just be calm and do what I do and drive the rocket ship like I usually do.
