Paragraph that answers these questions:
Paragraph:
I really liked this book that we read today. This book surprised me in so many different ways too! For example, when we read the statistics about how many people do not have homes, jobs , and water I felt really bad for those people. There were like I said many things that made me feel bad, for example, the statistics about how many people have homes really upset me because that means that those people do not have water, warmth, and anything else you have in your home that you need. This situation made me want to tell my community to try to make new homes for all of the homeless people in my neighborhood. For this situation I could try to gather people in my community and try to build houses.
- Explain what surprised you about the statistics of our world.
- What upset you? What do you wish were different?
- What made you want to do something to improve a situation?
- Can you do anything to help? If so, what?
