When you are in space, there os no gravity and that affects your muscles so when you get to mars and walk off the ship, you will feel very odd. Nasa is building a treadmill that keeps you on the treadmill " because there is no gravity in space ". Another plan Nasa is making is to improve mars spacesuits because mars is different than earth. 2. The trip will take about 6 months and the halfway point is about 102 days. 3. They will definitely need a huge supply of food and water, any way possible to get and have oxygen, good spacesuits that are meant for mars, and weather devices to see if there is any unknown dust storms coming. 4.The risks of traveling to a distant planet is that if you are sick and need to go to the hospital, the nearest one is probably months away. Another risk is that there are solar flares. This situation is where you need to go in a safe place on the rocket that is usually tight and cramped. If you went outside of the tight space, you would die. This is bad because some solar flares last possibly for months. You can't exercise in the tight space and if you are in a hurry to get into the tight space, you might not grab food and water which are key to surviving. 5. I would want to bring water and food to survive, a board game for entertainment when I get board, and a pack of extra clothes because you usually grow in space and I would want to bring extra clothes so that I'm not cramped in my t-shirt. |
