Man am I worried about all of these problems we're going to possibly face while on Mars! I can't believe I got myself into this!: After reading phase 1 of "Mission Mars" by Pascal Lee I never realized how much problems there are on mars! I hope Simon Müller, our spacesuit engineer can make very high - tech spacesuits to protect us from dust storms, the very low air pressure, the cold temperatures, and the very low gravity. I also will try to keep us warm in the cold temperatures by making sure we all have heat units in our houses.
First of all, how can we live if: It can get as cold as 225°F!!!! That is freezing cold and like I said before, Simon Müller, Meesang Tuksin and I will have to make sure we all stay warm during these freezing temperatures. I will take that back though, ALL of us will have to play a part to survive these crazy cold temperatures. William Eriksson will have to build houses as quick as he can to help us have shelter. The trainer will have to train other people to build houses to make the job go faster. We all have a part in this and this will be a very tough, long journey.

- Problem... Mars orbits the sun slower than earth. This means that we will never be the shortest distance you can be to mars.
- Problem... Mars has low gravity. This means that we will weigh less and you will be able to leap more. This is a big change from earth and it will be hard to get used to.
- Problem... Mars is all land and has no body of water.
- Problem... Mars has giant land forms. Some ten times bigger than on earth. Mars also has a ton of impact craters. This is bad because it will be hard to land our spaceship on mars.
- Problem... There are many dust storms in mars. This is a problem because it is bad to breathe in dust.
- Problem... Mars has suffocating air. Almost all of the air on mars is carbon dioxide. This is a problem because carbon dioxide is what you breathe out, and you would suffocate if you breathe in carbon dioxide.
- Problem... Mars has very low air pressure. This is a problem because if you exposed this air pressure, the gases in your body would not be balance and you would bubble up.
- Problem... Mars is a very cold planet. In mars at the poles in the winter, it is as cold as -225ºF! This is very dangerous to us!
- Problem... Martain dust is very fine-grained and rust is super corrosive. If you breathe this in, you would choke to death!
- Problem... Mars is constantly zapped by high - energy radiation from the sun and from deep space. This radiation will get to you and you could possibly get cancer or die.
- Problem... Some alien civilization might be on mars and we might not be able to land and live here.
