HumansThe human body on earth has many parts. Our legs help us get to places however fast you want. Our ears help us hear all around us. We have one ear on each side of our head. Our eyes help us see things all around us. Our feet help us stay on the ground and comes into hand with walking and running. Our nose helps us smell the most beautiful smells and the worst smells. The tongue helps us taste delicious, mouth watering meals and the grossest of them all. ( cough cough tomatoes ) Our mouth lets us put things in it like soda, food, etc. witch then get's swallowed. Some things are really bad to swallow like toys. Our neck helps us bend our head every witch way. Backwards, forwards, and to the side. Your arms help you grab things and write. Some things that you can grab are turning a page of a book, grabbing a cup that you are about to drink out of, etc. Our elbows help us bend our arms to do certain things. Our knees help us bend our legs for some certain reasons. | AliensHere are facts about the planet that the alien lives on. My alien's arms are to move around on land from the wet and muddy ground. These arms have claws for extra grip to move around. My alien's mouth is to suck up the nutrient rich mud. Mud can be very slippery sometimes and hard to pick up so my alien can just suck it up with it's mouth. The eyes were for seeking help from far away with his big, long eyes. |
Reflection Question | Answer |
1. Compare and contrast your alien and a human. What similarities do they have and what differences do they have? These should be related to the parts of their bodies that have a specific purpose (Example: Both have feet which help them both stand straight up.) Try to be specific and explain things with detail. | 1. Both body's have eyes to see things, but the aliens eyes are larger. This is so that the alien can seek help in emergencies from people that are far away because the alien lives in a desert area. The alien's arms and fingers are for moving around in muddy areas. Our arms and fingers are for grabbing things and writing words. The aliens mouth/nose is for sucking up mud and our mouth is for eating things, not particularly for eating mud! |
