1. They were at least 50 degrees apart in temperature. This was because the water just got heated up.
2. It heated up a bit, this happened because of the heat being released into the cold water. This happened because of the water getting cooler in the heated water cup.
3. It cooled down because the cold water started to cool it down. This happened because the red solo cup wasn't completely 
4. It used lines that went down to points that stated temperatures.
