"Observing and Describing an Apple."

Notes That I Notice:

• The apple has a very tiny stem - that probably means that it easily fell off the tree. 
• When you hit the hard core of the apple, it sounds like it's hollow inside but when you it farther away from the core it gets softer and softer and you cant really here much.
• The apple really smells like an apple tree to me. I realized that the smell is not that strong as other smells. It is about like medium smell.
• I realized that the skin of the apple is very thin and I wonder how the skin keeps the apple protected from getting dented and other dangerous things.
• I saw that on the apple, it has a little bit of brownish color, so I think that it means that it is starting to rot a little. 
• I see that different apples have more or less seeds than other apples. Mine only had 2 and my responsibility partner only has 1. I also noticed that some apples have no seeds at all.
• I realized that the apple has a lot of juice inside it. I wonder how such an apple has a lot of juice. Is their enough to fill a glass of apple juice? 
• I looked at the apple seeds and realized that they are tiny and have a really tough shell. When you try to pick at the seeds with a tooth pick, they are really slippery.
• When I squeeze the apple, it makes like a weird crunching noise.

Answers:
I was able to observe so many things about my apple because I was focused on observing my apple and seeing all the different things that the apple had.

Observation and description is really important in science because you observe the thing that you are observing and learn cool facts about your test.
