At math one day I was going to get a long drink and when I came back I was going to sit down, but George pulled the chair out from under me and I felt flat on the ground like a pancake. I also knocked over the garbage can and the recycling bin which did a domino effect and blocked the door. This was very funny because everyone looked over my way and were like what was that. While me and George were laughing hysterically even though he was the one who took the chair out from under me. Many of the other kids were laughing to even though they didn't really know what happened, like that he pulled the chair out from under me. Mr Lamich wasn't to pleased that he had to stop class because of us, but he was sorta laughing to. I didn't tell on George because it was pretty funny what he did but it was also a little annoying.

Do your best during today's reading to figure out what new words mean to you using these two sources of knowledge. Asking Questions While Reading Nonfiction Readers of nonfiction ask themselves questions before, during, and after reading. To Thomas, April 19, 1775 Hi Thomas, it’s Paul. As you know I am a patriot and I deeply believe that we should break free from England because they have been attacking us left and right. I have organized a group called the Sons of Liberty to get people on our side, this is very important to me because I have organized this and I am part of it. I am also part of a spy group which was called the mechanics, and we found information on the British and tried to use it against them. I was asked to complete a mission for the mechanics. I was asked to warn the villages about a British attack that we had found out about. It turned out to be the experience of my life, I had been captured by the British trying to warn the villages about this British attack, this was called the Midnight Ride. I am really happy that my horse Brown Beauty, held up for the night. My two companions escaped but I was not so lucky. I eventually escaped but had to give up valuable information about our defense on their attack. I was released several hours later because I wouldn’t tell them anything else, I hope to see you soon. Best regards, Paul Revere Mrs. Kleist and Mrs. Cerniglia wanted us to write a letter about somebody from the Revolutionary War time period and I chose Paul Revere. Paul Revere wanted to be free from England, but all of the laws and fighting prevnts him from doing so. So then Paul Revere organizes a group called the Sons of Liberty and joins the Mechanics (a spy group that finds out info on the British) and then he goes on a mission with the mechanics that involves warnings all the villages and taking risks. He was also captured on this ride called The Midnight Ride.
