- 1 is from Ocean aria.
- More than half of the people come from 6 most populated countries.

- There are almost about 6,000 different languages in the world
- In the Global village more than half of the people speak 8 languages
- 9 speak English
- 9 speak Hindi

- The villagers have many animals like:

- 250 chickens - yes, there are more than twice as many chickens as people in the global village!
- Other than all the animals there are a bunch of different foods like, grains,bread,and other foods.
- 30 people in the village do not have a reliable source of food and are hungry some or all the time.
- 17 people are severally undernourished and are always hungry.
- So, 47 of the people in the village do not have food security - they cannot always be sure they will have enough to eat. The other 53 villagers are food secure - they have enough food to survive and even thrive.
- In most of the village the air is clean in other parts it isn't clean and some water is clean but other water isn't clean.
- 87 people have access to a source of safe water.
- 62 have access to adequate sanitation - they have public or household sewage disposal - while 38 do not. They are at risk of of diseases.
- 68 people breath clean air and 32 don't have clean air they may get sick or diseases from the air pollution.
- For some people have school and for others they don't or they can but they have to work.
- There are 36 schooled - aged villagers (ages 5 to 24). But only 30 of them attend school. There is 1 teacher for all of these students.
- The other 6 students could go to school. Three of them work around the house or on farms. The other 3 are child laborers. They work in fields factories, they might sell things or be child soldiers.
- 14 percent of the people in the world today cannot read or write.
- More males know how to read and write than females because they went to school.
- The richest 10 people out of the 100 have 85 percent of the money.
