| 1. It was hard to use the same technique. 2. My hands felt normal at the begin But at the end they started to get sore. 3. At first I was great then I went down and up and finally My score went low. 4. One thing that might have effected my result was when I dropped the close pin several times. I5. think my hands strengthened because they got used to the pain. I think they got the oxygen because every time I stopped for a brake blood would flow to my fingers so that they can function right. I can shake my hand to make it feal better or we can have our parners rub our fingers. You should shake your hand off ice it or you can rub it or rest it so that it can recover. |

I hated the idea of adults telling kids what to do. They say we have do whatever they tell us to do. We get stuck doing chores, cleaning, making our beds, putting our toys away, doing our homework, and going to places we don’t want to go. It is unfair! We should be able to make our own decisions. Parents and other adults should not make them for us. For example, after school I say, “mom I’m going to play Xbox.” Mom says, “you can not play Xbox today, maybe on a weekend.” Kids should be able to make that decision on their own. Don’t you think? I especially do not like it when I get money as a present and my Dad takes it away and puts it in the bank! I should be able to keep all of it to spend any way I want….like on candy and coke! Don’t you think? It’s so annoying how parents always try to control what TV shows we want to record and watch and what movies we can and can’t see. I hate how they say, “this movie isn’t appropriate!” We should be able to watch whatever we want, whenever we want. Don’t you think? “Demetri, It’s time for bed.” See what I mean...it’s only 10:00pm! There she goes again trying to tell me what to do! “Don’t forget to brush your teeth and set your alarm.” I don’t want to do it. Why should I brush? I never get cavities anyways. That is why I should be able to eat as much candy and cookies as I want. The dentist says, “floss and brush your teeth every day and don’t eat too much sugar. It’s is bad for you,” but I don’t believe her. I have halloween candy in every hiding spot in my room. Mom never finds it. I’ll just trick my mom and turn on my spin brush and it makes a little noise, so she thinks I am brushing. “Lights out Demetri!!”, Dad yells. Why can’t I stay up until I feel like passing out? Oh well, there is no use fighting it. I’ll just have to go to sleep. I wish kids never had to do what adults told them to do!
I woke up to the barking of my dogs Fifty and Lilly and I was really tired. I looked at the clock and it said 6:00 am, so I went back to my bed and pulled the covers to my ears and went back to sleep. I felt like I had slept forever when I was awoken by my brother Michael running into my room, yanking off my covers, and blasting Christmas music in my ears. He always does this! It seemed to be like any ordinary day. I decided not to brush my teeth because I was going to be late for school. I ran down the stairs, ate some cereal and quickly grabbed my backpack. Then I ran to the end of the block to catch the bus. The bus pulls up to let me in. I sit all the way to the back. When the bus was half way to the school it was chaos and kids were running up and down the aisles. I was surprised they did not get in trouble because usually if you even stand up you get yelled at by the bus driver. This was odd. I decided to just stay sitting just in case. When we got to the school kids were pushing and shoving to get off the bus. As the kids got off they all ran around outside like crazy. As soon as the bell rang everyone ran into the school and were running down the halls. It seemed like some of the kids were not even going the right way. They were just making a bigger crowd, and again I noticed the adults did not seem to care what the kids were doing. All the teachers and even Mr. Badynee just sat there and watched as the kids ran around screaming like crazy people. When I got to the classroom I noticed some kids ditched school. Mr. Solarz didn’t even take attendance or lunch count. I did not know how all the absent kids got away with it, without their parents making them go to school, or without the school calling to check on them. Then I thought to myself, I don't think kids have to listen to adults! This seemed kind of ridiculous, but I wanted to see if there would be any more examples of kids not listening. So I hu1ng up my backpack. Our teacher said we were doing our human body research paper. So I took out my work and when I needed to ask a question to my partner, I noticed he was just playing games. I said, “you are supposed to be doing your research paper” and he said, “I don't care. We don’t have to listen to what adults say. We can do whatever we want!” Then during math I was the only one who did their homework. Everyone else did not want to do it. I asked Mr. Solarz if I was supposed to do homework but he just said he did not care whether or not we did it. So then he told us what our class work was, but I could not hear it over all of the kids yelling and having side conversations. “This is getting a little out of control,” I thought in my head. Kids from other classes were just leaving the school early and no teachers even cared. It was like kids did not have to listen to what adults say, so they were doing whatever they wanted. Then I thought again, this is what I really wanted. So I might as well just do the same thing like everyone else and I played on a computer for like an hour. It was now lunch and we did absolutely no work and that was great, so I thought. As I once again went through the crowded noisy hall, this time I plowed through people like they were all doing at the bus line. We came thru the halls like a swarm of bees and did not stop until we got to the lunch room. At lunch people were sitting on top of the tables and snatching things from other people's lunches. Then somebody threw a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that was crumbled in a ball at the table in front of them and before you know, there is a food fight and everyone seemed to chime in. I decided to just stay quiet and not participate for two reasons: one, I like eating my lunch and two, I did not want to get food thrown on me. My ears were aching because the lunch room was louder than a crowd at a concert of a famous band. I decided I could not take it anymore. So I went out to recess 5 minutes early. Wiping food off my shirt, I sat on the wall and thought, “man this day is not going so well.” I think perhaps kids DO need adults to tell them what to do. So I hoped that the next day would not be like this one. Then all of the other kids came outside like a parade of people protesting. I could see everyone on the playground was breaking the rules. They were going up the slide instead of sliding down, standing on top of the tubes, pushing and shoving, and running on the wood chips! No one even got into trouble and the teachers gave no warnings. Kids were getting hurt left and right and no one seemed to care. When I walked past the playground somebody smashed into me, which made me fall down and they did not even stop to see if I was okay. When the whistle blew nobody went inside,They just kept playing. This went on for about another hour or two then people started going in side soon we were all back in the classroom, but we were all outside so long I did not notice that we were outside so long that it was time to go to gym and music. the class started running down the hall to music but some kids just went to gym so I decided to go to gym.Everyone was scattering things all over the place so that the gym was full of things. Then they started throw stuff at each other, soon everyone was throwing things around and yelling. Then the bell rang and it was kayas everyone was running thru the halls trying to get outside. Finally when I got outside I found my moms car and hopped in,my mom drove home and told me my brother and sister were at friends houses so I went and laid down on the couch and fell asleep suddenly I woke up in my bed and realised it was just a dream.I learned that without adults telling us what to do like telling us to brush our teeth then we would never brush our teeth. it would be kayotic and everyone would not lessin, like we Xwould get hurt a lot and there would be no purpose in a lot of things also kids would not learn they would just sit there playing video games.THat is why without adults telling kids what to do things would not get done and it would be crazy.luckily it was all one very bad dream. |
