Solution: We will have a satellite that transmits from a mile away to tell us if a drop is ahead. This will warn us and we will know to go a different route.
Big truck for bringing cargo to the town. My solution to the problem we can't transport all of our big lauds of stuff over water so I drew a ship that hovers over the ground and you can stear it but it also has auto drive. The driver sits in the front and can push a button that says panic so he or she can contact someone to get help. The cargo go's in the back so it has a big space to carry a lot of stuff, IT also has a roof that go's over the top so when we find water we can keep it locked in the back of the truck. The thing that makes it hover is its rocket boosts at the bottom. The hole thing runs on fuel that is stored at the front of the truck. The front of the truck also has a supply of oxygen just in case. Personal transpertation car This is one of the ways we can travel our own personal things like groceries or stuff for our house, It has a two seats and you have to ether put it on auto drive or if you want to exercise then you can peddle so that you can always keep yourself fiscally fit. The car also has a fuel slot so you can put it in auto drive. One of the good things about this is if you run out of fuel you can still peddle and get places. Just like the other car it has a panic button. This will take all the stuff to mars The main idea of this is to bring our big cars, we will bring three just to Carrie a lot of stuff I has a hard meddle so it does not break.
Solution to the Problem:
Comet and Meteorites can impact mars. About 200 Asteroids/Comets fall on Mars' surface. Studies say that this is not such a BIG problem but it does slightly hurt mars. To prevent Asteroids/comets from even touching mars, we could use a missile launcher to destroy comets and asteroids. Nicole, Lucas, Madi, Chris We couldn't see because of dust storms.
Solution: On our space helmets we would put lights on the top so that we can see where we are going. Solution to the problem - Before we leave to mars everyone should renew their tetanus shot. When we get to mars everyone should wear more protective gear on them and some sort of armor. We will bring a bunch of tetanus shots with us to renew them every other year. We will bring about 75 tetanus shots to mars and every six months we will order new ones to be shipped to us to last a life time. Nicole, Lucas, Madi, Chris Are supplies can get to cold and freeze. Solution: We would build a big dome with heat lamps in it so that all of the supplies can stay warm. When we get there we can put all of the supplies into the dome so they don't freeze. The solution to being able to exercise on mars - We will be able to exercise and stay on fit so we can get used to the gravity there and when were working really hard you would get used to the gravity and won't be weak so that's why you would need to exercise to live so you can get used to the gravity. There would be treadmills that are sideways so you can get used to it. Credit for the original videos goes to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLUiJW3YPhs
The solution to the problem: I or the Maker will make a UV( Ultraviolet ) ray visor out of polycarbonate plastic and a thin layer of gold that reflects Ultraviolet light from the sun. If I don't make the visors the UV rays can kill us or cause cancer. Then we can cover our houses with the same material used for the visors so the UV rays don't effect them. Also our space suit will be made of opaque layers to take care of the rest of the radiation. We will need 22 of these specialized visors and suits. If the visors break there is gold on mars so we can make new visors so we don't die. Information on UV ray visors and Radiation causing death: The cosmic radiation environment is actually fairly complex—it includes UV (ultraviolet), x rays, and gamma rays. But the most significant radiation comes in the form of particles—protons, electrons, and high-energy helium atoms that have been stripped of their electrons (also called helium nuclei or alpha radiation). Some of these can be shielded; others cannot. UV, potentially life-threatening, is fairly easily shielded by covering up. The visors are treated to reflect UV, and the opaque layers of the suit take care of the rest. On the other extreme, x rays and gamma rays are hard to shield—this is where the lead would come in, but there is not enough of this form of radiation to make the extra weight worthwhile. The lead apron a radiologist wears can weigh 10–15 kg, so lining the entire suit with this thickness of lead would add at least 25–40 kg to a suit that is already bulky and heavy. The material of the suit itself attenuates some of this radiation, but this is not the primary risk to astronauts. Materials:
We're going to solve this problem by bringing 88 masks to breath during the dust storms. Each person will get three masks for the beginning. When we get to mars we will give every person one mask to start out, if they lose it or brake is then we will give them another one and keep that pattern going on and on. We will order more masks every 6 months so we won't run out. There would be a speaker so you can talk to other people. With the masks you would be safe and you won't breathe in CO2. There will also be mini tanks attached to it and the oxygen that we will use is a small molecule from CO2 which is CO and O which then will be CO+CO+O2 that way you can get an oxygen molecule so then you can live. In the picture we couldn't find mini tanks attach to it so then you can breathe with the oxygen. And well order more every 6 months too. To get the extractor device you would use the project MOXIE which is a way to extract electricity then to produce oxygen. Here's the link to the website where I got it from. Which will come out on 2020. We can use wind turbines to generate electricity polar wind turbines so then you can generate electricity so here's the link. We will also bring masks for the animals.
The solutions to our problem are:
This should not be a very big problem because a volcano on mars has not erupted since the time before humans. Stainless steel- We would cover stainless steel all over the volcano. The steel would prevent lava from erupting out of the volcano because, most of the steel will be on the top of the volcano. If the steel lights on fire, we can use Alois' hose. Every week, Alois would check for cracks on each volcano. After one eruption, a cover of obsidian gets created and we don't need the stainless steel cover. And if the steel somehow lights on fire we have cameras set up. |
