Day 2: We decided that instead of all the other trails, for instance Sante Fe Trail, we decided to still go on the Oregon Trail.
Day 3: We decided what to bring for materials: 6 Prairie Schooners to carry our supplies, grease for the wagon wheels, blankets, honey, pots and pans, sugar, muskets and weapons to protect us, corn, tea, rice, bread, soup, beans bacon, butter, eggs, salt, pepper, tomatoes, milk, water, dried fruit, veggies. Clothes like pants, shirts, shorts, stockings (socks)digging tools for when we make it to Oregon for the gold. Oxen for pulling the wagons, and a butter churn Etc.
Day 4: We decided at first to take Conestoga Wagons, we then traded them for six Prairie Schooners like I said.
Day 5: We had to cross a river by ourselves with the wagons and the oxen.
Day 6: Alsion, Nicole, And Kendall all got blisters and Alison had to get her foot cut off.\
Day 7/8: There was a herd full of about 100-200 buffalo that were in way of the trail. We waited there for about 2 hours until somebody shot at one of the buffalo and the herd came at us. Luckily, Nobody was injured.
Day 9: Alison needed an IV so we payed the 20 dollars for it. Once we got it, we washed her ankle off in boiled water. Then we put the IV in her and she survived.
Day 10: The Hatfields were all sick with fever and the Mr. McCoy and Mr.Smith arguing about who was leader and could decide if we were going leave the Hatfields’ behind. We did a majority vote and we decided that we were keeping them in the train and risk being sick. But they decided to stay back anyways.
Iskander Alatas ended up having the same disease that the Hatfields and the Mccoys had. We had to figure out how to keep him safe, so for now, we put him in a quarantine.
Day 12/13: Today Kai Bon was sharpening our knifes and cut his pinky off. When we got to Fort Leramie Hanna found herself Madly in Love with her Future Husband. We then made a tough decision to leave Iskander Alatas behind.
