Today us playing tug-of-war wasn't a game it was learning, learning about a metaphor. We learned about this metaphor and that the American colonies didn't have to fight British alone they had help. In the beginning they didn't but finally the country who had routed for them from the start of the war finally joined in. France had helped them in the war. The British were stronger and more experienced but even though the American colonies started off with less people the people who had been training and France joined in. Well England still had people sailing over the ocean to come help. When the American colonies got offered something 1 person didn't because they were still a slave and even though the American colonies won there was still slavery so he didn't win anything.
| 1. I was the camera girl taking a video of the whole war. But I think I would've wanted to be on the red team. 2. If I was on the red team I would feel mad because more people kept joining with the colonies. If I was blue I would feel confident in winning because they were getting help from the white team. 3. I thought red would. I thought this because red was stronger and bigger. 4. Since I was not on a team I didn't get to feel anything. I think if I where on a team and they said I would win something and they took it back I would feel mad and want to win even more. 5. I think they won because they had more people and tried harded since they knew they were weaker. Everyone thought red would win and I think that made them want to win even more. |
