Today we had to decide what to do with our blisters because we got them from walking and we were about to cross Kansas river so we had to choose a treatment the options were to pop them, soak them, or do nothing to them. Most of the people in the class chose to soak them a couple of people popped them but now they have infection in there foot. But now we have to cross the river so someone asked us if we would pay him to cross the river but we did pay him to do it because a lot of other wagons were tipping over on their own. When he crossed our second wagon it tipped and we lost 400 lbs of bacon, 4 lbs of tea, ropes, and 4 lbs of biscuits. But the rest of our wagons crossed safely, we also had to cross the animals and ourselves, we almost got across safely but on of the oxen got spooked and spun and hit Tyler Smith and broke his toe so he'll probably have to ride in the wagon for at least a week. Other than that we got over safely and we got to Alcove Spring to rest and recover, Alcove Spring is a paradise in the middle of know where and we chose to stay their for three days and that will help Tyler Smith, and the blister on our foot.
