Our group decided that we should start thinking about what route we should take to get to Oregon. We found two main routes the California trail and the Oregon trail were the main routes. They are both similar but we decided to take the Oregon trail. Now we need supplies for the trip. We started brain storming supplies like food and wagons. We decided on lots of different foods that take a long time to expire. One of the things were butter because it had fat and we can use the fat for winter. The hared part was choosing what wagon we should take and what type of animal would pull the wagon. Some people didn't take wagons some took a wheel barrel. We decided to take Conestoga wagons but then we realized that was a bad decision. We took 4 Conestoga wagons. We had allot of trouble finding a group that would take our Conestoga. Then we traded our 4 Conestoga wagons for $30 each. Then we bought 6 prairie schooners. We only made $120 of the Conestoga which was a treble deal but that was our last choice. We went by this group we offered them $50 for each Conestoga but then we didn't take the deal. We bought every thing we needed and went off on our way West.
