My teacher, Mr. Solarz, was fortunate enough to travel to Dubai last week for an education conference and to meet former Top 50 Global Teacher Prize candidates for the Varkey GEMS Global Teacher Prize. He shared his unbelievable experience with us, and here are some things that I learned from our discussion:
I learned:
-To accept people and don't group people by skin, hair, clothes, and etc.
-A lot of people that did incredible things like can memorize really quick or taught very well.
-Some rules that are important like you can't touch woman in Dubai.
-That people can do amazing things and inspired me that I can do anything.
-How the globe is tilted and on a flat map you don't go straight, you go in a curve.
-I learned the map of Dubai and how amazing it is and how the country is wealthy and how they are wealthy, also learned that how they are getting a future investment and how they get money from oil and in 40 or 50 years and any other years, oil won't be needed any more.
