| • We found lots of lakes and rivers. We also found oceans, bays, gulfs, and many more. We learned what reservoirs are, they are lakes used as a water supply. • Yes, we found several small lakes that were too small to even see on the Illinois map. One example would be Pear Tree Lake, which is a small lake that we couldn't see on the Illinois map. • Yes, we found lakes and creeks on the Illinois map that were too small to be seen on the United States map. We found Goose Lake, on the Illinois map but we couldn't see it on the United States map. We could see it on the Illinois map because the map is zoomed in to see more details like smaller lakes. • We saw Eagle Creek and Lake Bloomington on the Illinois map. We saw Hasbrook Park and Clearwater park on the Arlington Heights map. We identified all types of bodies of water, we mainly identified lakes. We also saw rivers, oceans, gulfs, bays, inlets, reservoirs, seas, sounds, channels, and inlets. |
