- NOTE: I feel really bad for the people who don't go to school and cannot have education.

- 6 village children could be at school but work instead.
- 14 people cannot read at all.
- More males are taught to read than females.
- 14% of our world can't read.
- 63 people have jobs.
- 6 do not work.
- 5 go to school.
- 6 are retired.
- The richest 10 people have nearly 85 percent of the world's wealth. Each has more than $87,500 a year.
- The poorest 10 people each have less than $2 a day.
- Villagers have 50 radios, 45 televisions, 92 telephones (more than 60 are cell phones), 22 computers, 2 trucks, 10 automobiles, and 16 bicycles.
- 76 people have electricity.
- 24 people do not.
- NOTE: I am so shocked that there are so many people who don't have these important things and that some people are so spoiled at the same time.
- Some people in the city get sick, and some do not.
- Experts think that 250 people is the maximum amount for people in the village.
- NOTE: After reading this book, it makes me want to help some people who don't have these important things that we have.
